Overview

Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1231, by Brîlêj Dyèdsí. The establishment of Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè's construction back out of the project. Brîlêj Dyèdsí pushed on reguardles, and Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a semi-circular premissive packed earth mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Unfortuantly, these boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

In Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.

The Fox, Fading near Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Dêthêv-kîte Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves square dance to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 1 via singing.
